Type and Principle Construction of the Crusher

There are two main types of applications in the industry:
1. The jaw crusher with simple swinging double bracket mechanism (so-called simple pendulum type).

The movement of the movable jaw is achieved by means of a connecting rod and a thrust plate mechanism. It is composed of a flywheel 7, an eccentric shaft 8, a connecting rod 9, a front thrust plate and a rear thrust plate 13. When the motor drives the eccentric shaft to rotate through the pulley, the link is made to move. The up and down movement of the connecting rod drives the thrust plate to move. As the motion of the thrust plate constantly changes the angle of inclination, the movable jaws reciprocate around the suspension axis, thereby breaking the ore. When the moving jaw moves forward, the horizontal pull rod balances the inertial force generated by the moving jaw and the thrust plate through the spring 10, so that the moving jaw and the thrust plate are tightly combined and are not separated. When the moving jaws retreat, the spring can assist.

Crusher
Because the jaw crusher works intermittently, that is, there is a working stroke and an idle stroke, the load of the motor is extremely uneven. In order to make the load uniform, it is necessary to store the energy of the idling stroke when the moving jaw moves backward (away from the fixed jaw) so that the energy is completely released during the working stroke (breaking of the ore). Using the principle of inertia, a flywheel can be installed at each end of the eccentric shaft to achieve this goal. In order to simplify the structure of the machine, one of the flywheels is usually used as a pulley for transmitting power. For a large jaw crusher driven by two electric motors, the two flywheels are all made into a pulley, that is, the pulley also acts as a flywheel.
The eccentric shaft or the main shaft is an important part of the crusher. The suspension shaft of the simple jaw-type jaw crusher is also called the mandrel. The eccentric shaft is the main part that drives the connecting rod to move up and down. Because they are subjected to a large crushing force during operation, they are generally made of high-quality alloy steel. According to the state of China’s resources, the eccentric shaft of the large jaw crusher is suitable for alloy steels such as manganese molybdenum vanadium, manganese molybdenum boron and chromium molybdenum. The small jaw crusher is made of 45 gauge steel. The eccentric shaft should be tempered or normalized to improve strength and wear resistance. The main shaft is generally made of 45 steel.
The connecting rod is only available in the simple pendulum jaw crusher, which is composed of the connecting rod body and the connecting rod head. It is made of cast steel because it is subjected to tensile force during work. The connecting rod body has two kinds of whole and combined, the former is mostly used for medium and small jaw crushers, and the latter is mainly used for large jaw crushers. In order to reduce the inertia of the connecting rod, the stress is reduced to reduce the weight of the connecting rod body. Therefore, the medium and small jaw crushers generally adopt the “work” and “ten” cross-section structure, while the large jaw crusher adopts the box shape. Sectional form. For the hydraulic jaw crusher, the hydraulic fluid cylinder (piston) is also installed in the connecting rod body, which acts as an insurance when the machine is overloaded.
Adjustment device It is an adjustment mechanism for the size of the discharge port of the crusher. With the wear of the broken tooth plate, the discharge port gradually increases, and the particle size of the crushed product becomes thicker and thicker. In order to ensure the product size requirements, the adjustment device must be used to regularly adjust the size of the discharge port.
